staying in Manteo
Just returned from OBX last Saturday.
Had a beautiful time. Stayed at "The
Tranquil House Inn" in Manteo.
Right on waterfront and everything
in town was within walking distance
- shops, restaurants, etc. Centrally
located between Corolla and Cape Hatteras
and, best of all, not too "touristy."
Found the end of August a perfect
time to go - great weather and did
not run into any traffic hassles.
