Subject: New
to the Outer Banks
My husband and I are looking for a pet friendly
area on the outer banks that is relatively
close to shopping, restaurants, and other
convienences. We don't necessarily want
to be in the hustle and bustle. We wouldn't
mind having to drive to restaurants, etc.
We are looking for a vacation to get away
from the daily grind! Any recommendations
would be greatly appreciated. Read

Subject: newbie
to OBX
hello, hope that I get some advice from
some of you seasoned OBX vacationers...I
am contemplating renting to the OBX next
summer, and basically, to be blunt, I haven't
the slightest clue where to begin. Is their
one place/beachfront/area that is more advantageous
to another? Can you provide information
on good agents to use for rentals? Are their
any website resources I can consult that
might assist me in my search. Any advice
you can give is a tremendous help!!!! Thank
you so much. TJ. Read

Subject: New
to Outer Banks
Hello All!!! I am an Outer Banks "newbie"
and was wondering if some of you would offer
some suggestions or opinions regarding the
best locations to stay. Being that this
will be more of a family vacation with about
10 adults and 6 young children we are trying
to strike a balance between pure relaxation
and things to do. Thanks in advance for
your assistance. Read

Timers -- Lots of Questions!
I am taking my wife and 2 year old twins
to the Outer Banks this summer -- our first
time there. (It should be noted, we are
also taking our dog, too!)
Here are my questions:
1. When is the best time of the summer to
go?
2. Is Labor Day weekend going to be insanely
crowded there?
3. Is it too hot in August and/or too cold
in September/October to go?
4. Where is the best place to go for beauty
and calmness -- we don't need a night life,
and are looking for less crowds as much
as possible. We have considered, so far,
Nags Head and Duck -- are we on track?
5. Any other tips? Read
