Subject: Favorite places for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

I was hoping to get some ideas for some awesome places to eat when we come down this summer. I don't need anything super fancy just places that have delicious food.

Breakfast: Bob's Grill for lunch or dinner: Tortuga's Lie. Try a Dune Burger or Dare Devil's for lunch also. Grocery store cheese, wine, fruit find a spot on the beach.

31292: It's very casual, not very big, booths, tables, bar. Kid friendly. We go each year for the ribs. Service very good. We never had a bad meal there. Located in NH on the Beach Road.

The Nags Head Pier is great for breakfast and other meals. The restaurant is oceanfront and serves a great breakfast--if you want something different try the sea trout with your eggs, grits, etc. If you go fishing, they will cook your catch and provide sides (look up their website for details). We always make it a point to have at least one meal there for both the food and the view, and for a stroll on the pier afterwards.

We love the Nags Head Pier the view is amazing. The waitstaff are lovely and there is just something soothing about sitting there looking at the waves while you eat. Makes me miss Quagmires.

Nags Head pier for breakfast, and Grits Grill has a good breakfast too. Awful Arthurs for dinner, and Tortugas Lie. LoveFive Guys for lunch!

We eat breakfast every morning at Bobs Grill. Love Sugar Creek, Tale of the Whale, Pier House, Dare Devil Pizza. Didn't care much for 5 guys burgers. If you get over to Ocracoke, Howards Pub has always been good when we come down twice a year.

A tradition of mine is a tuna salad sandwich for lunch at Poor Richard's on the Manteo waterfront. Don't go right at lunch time—go a little earlier or later. "Regular" lunchtime is very crowded as this, apparently, is a very popular place for the locals. We like Sam and Omie's (MP 16 Beach Rd.) for breakfast/lunch. We like Jolly Roger (MP 6 Beach Rd.) for supper. My husband would eat three meals a day at Miller's (MP 9.5 Beach Rd) or The Dunes (MP 16 1/2 US 158); Dunes has a very good breakfast buffet.

I have some suggestions that are more along the fast food or "snack" line of thinking. American Pie has great pizza. Kill Devil's Custard and Beach Fries has the best ice cream ever! Big Al's is pretty good, but more fun than anything with the 50's atmosphere and Coca Cola memorability. Duck Donuts are awesome too.
