Subject: Tim Buck II market
Is that market on the edge of Tim Buck II in Corolla open all year long? I know they sell fresh seafood. Where would you get it during the off season, if it is closed?

Don't know if they are open. There is Carawans in Kitty Hawk that you have to go past on your way to Corolla. Please remember that the word Fresh is very subjective. If you add the word local before Fresh your selection goes down considerably in the late Fall and Winter. Tuna and Flounder will be local so will Striped Bass. However, please do not think that Crab Legs, Salmon, Halibut, and Tilapia are local, not by thousands and thousands of miles.

And adding the word LOCAL is something like the word Improved or New or Lite, often it is marketing hype and means nothing really. Shrimp is a good example, is it really local? Do you really care if it's good?

Apparently most people feel that once they get to Corolla they must stay there. We have taken many drives South for Attractions, Activities, Shopping and Nightlife. You are talking "Off Season" in this post. You probably will need a a little deversion, unless you just sit, soak up the rays and read a book or do some beach walking. This is all okay but Wanchese is roughly 45 miles from Corolla. Walk around there and in Manteo. Corolla is not the only "location" on the Outer Banks.
