Subject: Andy on Halloween
Anybody know if you can go up to Andy Griffith's front door in Manteo for Halloween candy? Does he open up those wrought iron gates and let the kids in and hand out Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or O'Henry bars or something of a good candy bar stature?

as he would say..."just a wonderin'?

I'm not too sure if he opens up the gates, but I would take Andy more for a "Baby Ruth" or a "Butterfinger" type of candy man.

He has a big gate and a phone to call police if you get by it.
