Subject: Oceanfront Rentals
My husband and I came down for the first time earlier this month and fell in love. We really enjoyed being there in the fall because there were no crowds anywhere! So, we're trying to find somewhere to rent for September 2010, and I wondered if anyone knows of some nice pet-friendly, oceanfront houses to rent. We have 2 dogs! Thanks!

We were in Corolla this time. We definitely liked being north of the bridge, but would be open to KH and NH as well. I don't think we would want to go farther south. I know what you mean with the so many to choose from. I thought I would ask on here because I have become a little overwhelmed.

Thanks!

I think the most affordable oceanfronts will be found between KH-Nags Head. Pet friendly you will have to check on.

We always stay in Duck and we always use Beach Realty. They have lots of pet friendly homes.

You are probably going to find it a bit more crowded just about anywhere in September than you did two weeks ago. If you didn't drive down to Hatteras Island on your visit, you might want to do so next time before ruling it out entirely. If solitude is what you are interested in, you might find it more to your liking, particularly during the busier months.
