vs corolla
we're narrowing down our vacation destination
for this summer...just curious about the
pros and cons between duck and corolla?
My concerns about corolla is that if we
want to visit hatteras is. or manteo for
the day - traffic could be terrible getting
in and out of corolla...any care to share

I am visiting for the 2nd time this summer
and renting a house for the family. Can
anyone give any feedback about KH vs. Duck?
The house i am looking at in KH is just
off 158... is that a busy road and can i
walk to the beach?? The house in Duck is

to eat in Corolla or Duck
We've been to the Outer Banks several times
in the last few years. The restaurants we've
tried have not impressed us. We ate at Elizabeth's
in Duck but thought it was very pricey for
mediocre food. We've tried the Sunset Grill
and thought the location was pretty but
the inside atmosphere and food were disappointing.

Subject: Hatteras
or Duck/Corolla?
Planning a vacation to OBX and am trying
to decide between Hatteras, Avon area or
Duck/Corolla, with oceanfront rental in
either location. From what I understand
Duck/Corolla is newer and more residential
and rentals seem to be more costly. Hatteras
area appears to be less populated, and rentals
less costly. I'm trying to determine the
benefits or drawbacks to each area. A couple
of specific questions I have are:
How long is drive to each area once you
get over bridge? Are there enough 'large'
grocery stores; video rentals and restuarants
in each area? Is the beach area different
in either area or access to beach from the
homes (in things read on Hatteras rental
descriptions don't mention 'private boardwalk
to beach')? Any and all information would
be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time

Looking for a new place to stay this year
(May). We have always vacationed in Hatteras/Frisco
but would like a change of scenery. Which
is a better location, Duck or Corolla? Is
one less-crowded than the other? We don't
eat out much, so just a good local seafood
market and a grocery store is all we need.
